You will need a print of the background on which to stitch. This shows the centre position for lining up in the embroidery frame. If you are lucky enough to have the new Innov-is I, you will be able to use the camera facility to line the needle up in the centre. If you don't, then match up the markings on the embroidery hoop, and you will have a centre position.
